U-POL Reface Polyester Sprayable Filler is a professional-grade, two-component (2K) sprayable polyester filler engineered for efficient large-area repairs. It delivers a high-build, ultra-flat surface that sands smoothly and primes well—ideal as a base for most paint systems.

Key Specifications & Application Insights:

• High Build & Smooth Sanding
  Covers 100–150 µm (4–6 mils) dry film per coat; sands easily for a flawless finish.

• Comes with Liquid Hardener
  Supplied with hardener; mix ratio: 5 vol % (≈3 wt %), e.g., 50 ml hardener per 1 L of filler.

• Efficient Application Protocol
  Use an HVLP gun with a 2.0–3.0 mm tip at ~2.1 bar (30 psi). Apply 2–3 coats from 15–20 cm away. Flash-off between coats is not required.

• Coverage Estimate
  Approximately 8 m² per litre at the recommended dry film thickness.

• Curing & Sanding Times
  Ready to sand in 2–3 hours at 20 °C—or in just 30 minutes with baking at 60 °C. Use P180–P240 grit paper.

• Surface Preparation
  Clean and degrease with SYSTEM 20 products. For abrasion: P80 on bare steel, P180 on original paint, GRP or fillers. Re-clean before applying. Not suitable for thermoplastic acrylics, aluminium, galvanised, or etch-primed surfaces.

• Overpainting Compatibility
  Sanded filler can be overcoated with most water- and solvent-based paints. Always apply a primer before the topcoat. TDS
